Classification: Query
Surnames: Logan
Ihave been reasearching my antsisters and found that the most likely forfather is James Logan of that Ilk.
If and when I have found and confirmed what I suspect. I will contact the person whom I suspect to be the living clan cheif of what he can claim.
At this moment I belive my forfather Alexander Logan born aprox. 1779 is the grandson of James Logan of that Ilk, who is mentioned as died abroad in the book "The Clan Logan".
Acording to that book This Alexander Logan if he had male issues would be the rightful Clan Chief to the Clan Logan.
At the time of my forfather Alexsanders death he had trhee sons. John, James (my forather) and a third son that at the time of Alexanders death was in Scotland. And that is all we know about the third son. So before I know anything about him I will look apon him as a younger brother of James.
John the older brother did not have any issues that is registered.
I will keep you out there posted on my research.
God bless each and one of you.
Love from Norway.
