MacDonalds of Bolfracks

Seeking information about the MacDonalds of Bolfracks, Weem Parish, Perthshire. My 4x ggrandfather, John MacDonald, married Jean Menzies. I have been told she was from Menzies Castle, which just happens to be about 2 miles down the road from Bolfracks. I have no dates, but believe they would have married in the late 1700s, since their oldest child, Grace, was born in 1772. John's parents were Allan MacDonald and Grizel (Grace) Kennedy; but I have no information re. Jean Menzies' parents. Their second son, James Peter (Hamish), who is my 3x ggrandfather, m. Ann McLean, d/o Duncan McLean and Isabella Robertson of Duntuime in Logierait Parish, in 1832 shortly before they sailed for Canada. It is believed that his elder sister, Grace (who married her cousin Alexander McNab in Scotland) came to Canada c. 1831 with her husband and their 10 children. Does anyone know anything about the lands and tenants surrounding Menzies Castle, the Menzies, and life in Scotland at that time? Any information will be appreciated.
