My maternal great grandfather is thought to have been born in Scotland. His father was Peter MacIntyre (lived near Edinburgh?) This Peter married Margaret Barr who was born in 1848. They had two children
Peter (my great-grandfather)(b: in Scotland? died in Aug 1953
Mary (b:in PA? and died in 1883)

My Peter married Cora Belle Mast (of Lancaster, Pa) (b:Nov 1878--d: 1963) they marreid Nov 1905. They had 3 children (Norman(died in infancy), Harvey and Edna Irene)

We know nearly nothing about the first Peter.
I am looking for any possible help, good suggestions, I am very new at this.
