My interest in my ancestry led me to discover ties to several Scottish families including the Maclean family. Thereafter, I sought out and became involved in Clan Maclean International through the largest American Branch, Clan Gillean, USA. I now serve as Vice President of that group.

It has occurred to me that many other Macleans (however spelled) might be interested in developing a relationship with other Macleans throughout the world through Clan Maclean International.
