My G/G/Grandfathers name was Thomas Cameron Moffat he came from Leith Scotland & married a Jane Gregory he was in the English Navy, He was born in the late 1820s either he or his son thomas came to Australia to Melbourne then went to Rutherglen then to Lavington New South Wales where he was a road contracter there are streets called Moffat in Lavington& that is all I know his son Thomas married Elizabeth Dick & they had 5 children,Alf,Walter,Harold,Edwin & Agnes.Would be pleased if anyone knows anything.I am new at this so if I muck up,sorry!!.
