Supposedly My gggg and so on grandfather was William or Possibly Basil Shaw Chieftain of Clan Shaw and left Scotland after the Battle of Culloden and Came to America. Can anyone list some of the Chieftains about this time (1746) i am assuming he may have been from the Shaws on Kinrara and Guislich but not certain...

Anything Would help and all i have said is all i know which came from a letter that was written in 1884 which was written by this Williams ggg grandfather
