Thanks for your support. I would join the Stewart DNA group but, as I understand it, male to male descendant DNA is required for conclusive lineage results. We have no willing men in our tree so far.
The 'family tree' is old and very large. Written on parchment paper probably in the mid 1900's and covering only the more ancient lines. It appears to be trying to link Duncan Stewart of Ipswich to the Stewarts of Appin.
Not possible nor would it be very readable to copy.
If there is a head of your group that I can trust to read and share it, I could find it and send it as long as it's returned. Pam Gould
