My ancestor, Duncan Stewart, arrived in Mass. about 1650/51, reportedly aboard the UNITY, a prisoner from the Battle of Dunbar. Attempting to confirm ties to the Stewarts of Appin.
Does anyone know what happened to the following Stewarts of Appin?
Duncan Mor Stewart, 8th of Appin

Duncan, 2nd of Ardsheal

Alexander, 4th of Invernahyle

Did they fight in the Battle of Dunbar? Did they come home?
