My 2gr-grandparents, Thomas Bradley & Esther D. GRIEST _ROTH moved from Pickaway Co. Ohio to Edgar Co. Illinois, Brocton Area during 1854-55...their last daughter, Alice ROTH was born in Brocton 1855. They shared a farm boundary with Thomas & Mary Ann McCOY_EUBANK of Kenton Co. Kentucky.

Thomas' grandfather, Caspar ROTH was born in Thaleischweiler-Froechen, Land-Rhineland Pfalz, Germany on 2 Apr 1745. Caspar maried Elizabeth FEGER and they llived in Reading, Berks Co. Pensylvania & moving to Numidia, Columbia Co. Pennsylvania, where they are buried.

Thomas' parents: Johann Paul & Catherine REITER_ROTH owned "The Eagle" hotel in Shamokin, Northumberland Co. Pennsylvania.
