Classification: Query
Surnames: Puczkorius/Puckoris Brundza, Mazonas, Hamilton
My grandmother, Magdalena Puczkoris (Mazonas), had siblings who went west to Chicago after landing in New York about 1905. They were probably born in the late 1870's and the 1880's in the Kaunas region in Lithuania. There was a sister named Anna (married name Brundza) who lived in Connecticut and another Anna, the widow of one of the Chicago brothers, Frank, who returned to Connecticut. Her children were Ruth (Hamilton), Helen, and Anthony. The parents in Lithuania were Benediktus Puckorius and Marcyane Winckatie/ius. There was a Clement Puczkorius in the household with my grandparents in 1910 but he disappears after that. Does anyone know more about this family. I think there have been some modifications/simplifications of the name.
