Lithuanian Surname Glebaitis Question

Hello,
I have been trying to compile some sort of history on my Lithuanian family, but I keep coming to a dead end, especially with my own surname.

My family spells our last name "Glebatis", but I see it must be a name change from the traditional "-aitis" ending. Does anyone else have a problem finding other Lithuanian lineages? My great-grandfather (born around 1896) seems to be the only person with that last name that I can find (I have checked many internet sources)
Were there a lot of mispellings when people immigrated & that is why I am finding trouble?

We also have the name "Janczys" which doesn't go very far...and also looks a bit Polish to me?

Any guidance and or information on Lithuanian surnames or how to locate more names would be much appreciated!
