Robert Munley is my uncle and godfather. He used to own that airport you mentioned. He and I have pooled our data. Some branches I found went back to 1620. Unfortunately, I can only get Munley data back to approximately 1850.
Irene was my grandmother. Some of the other names you mentioned are likely relatives, though I haven't worked out their connection too well. They are probably distant cousins.
What I find interesting is that Munley is not an especially common name. The lines are pretty distinct, which makes me wonder if they originate from the same place and are all related.
My grandfather, William Munley died young at the age of 57 and all of his history died with him. I have been trying to get memories of my relatives from my father, my uncle Robert (whom you met), and my aunt. There isn't a whole lot to go on.
What I do know, and you probably do too, if you've been working on Irish geneology long enough, is that the records were stored in Dublin. There was a fire there around 1927 that destroyed most everything. Irish history is hard to follow unless you know enough about your family's locations to get church records.
One other tip I could offer is that there are some online Bay City directories that list residents, the people that lived in their house, and their occupations. Based on that, I was able to fill in some blanks that were unclear in the census data.
