In 1887, Mary (wms' widow)lived in a house with Mary, a daughter, James, Michael, and William.

In the same directory, it lists another Michael (fireman) and Patrick as living in the same dwelling. They are my ggf's brothers. My ggf, John, was listed as a fireman who lived on the same street as his father, also named John.

The year before, Michael the fireman, is listed as living with Mary. I do know that he went to Minnesota at some time and I had heard it was Hibbing. Did learn he died in St. Louis, MN and have sent for death certificates within the past couple of days on both him and his wife. Will let you know if that leads anywhere.
