I have a bit of info on the Munleys in Michigan. However, there does seem to be a few splits along the way. My grandfather was one of 11. Francis, Mary Agnes, Anna T., Elizabeth, Katherine, John Edward, William Michael, James, Gertrude B., Thomas Earl, and Helen Marie. They were born in Bay City, MI. The first in 1883, the last in 1902. They were the children of John Munley and Mariah Madigan both born in Canada. John was the son of John Munley and Bridget McGuerin, born in 1820 and 1825 respectively, in Ireland. They had four sons Patrick, John, Michael, and Thomas.
There was another group of Munleys living in Bay City at the time. Off the top of my head, I believe the mother's name was Mary and she was married to William. William was deceased at the time of the records I have and the sons of Mary lived close to her or with her in Bay City. The two families did not talk, to my knowledge, at least at the time my grandfather and father lived in Bay City.
There is also a group of Munleys in Owosso, who did originate from the Bay City group and did not know of the Bay City connection.
There are a few closer to the Detroit area but I do not know of their origins.
If there is any way I can help with the group, with which I am familiar, please let me know.
