My Grandmother Marie was a widow when she came to the United States in 1923. She originally went to Lincoln Ne. to stay with her sister Josephine Svejkovsky Hazuka and from there she came to MN with my Grandfather.

From my researcher in Czech. they say that the village of Svejkovice has been changed to Svojkovice. There has been some mention in other records that my half-aunt (from my Grandmothers first marriage) was born in Rokycany and there are others who were born in Plzen.

After researching Ellis Island records, I am wondering if the Anton Svejkovsky that came to Austin MN, whose father was Frantisek, is a nephew of my Great-Grandfather Jan.

I am trying to assemble as much information as possible by mid to late summer when I will contract another research project from my researcher in Czech.
