I have a good friend who had been told years ago that her sons grandmother was Native American and she would like to know if there is any DNA to check for that or anyway to track back. She has long since lost contact with her ex-husband.
I helped someone years ago get on the rolls but his mother and grandmother were on the rolls in Southern CA so it was not that difficult to gather info.

My friend would like to give this info to her son who is dying of stage 4 brain cancer and leaves a wife and 2 yr old son. He has always asked if he is an Indian because his father said his grandmother was.
Any help is appreciated.
