My paternal 2gr-grandparents, Thomas Bradley & Esther D. GRIEST_ROTH were married in Circleville, Pickaway Co. Ohio on 6 Apr 1836. They had 13 children: one who died young and the last was born in Edgar Co. Illinois.
Thomas' parents, Johann Paul & Catherine REITER_ROTH were from Numidia, Columbia Co. Pennsylvania and moved to Shamokin, Northumberland Co. Pennsylvania and owned "The Eagle" Hotel there.
Thomas' grandfather, Caspar ROTH was born in Thaleischweiler-Froeshchen, Land Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany: Lat. 49 degrees 16 minutes; Long. 7 degrees 34 minutes; South West of Berlin & more precisely: South East of Luxembourg. Caspar married Elizabeth FEGER.
Esther's parents Johnathan & Mary MORRRIS_GRIEST were from York Co. Pennsylvania and moved the family to Circleville in 1834.
John & Mary lived two houses away from the ROTH family in Circleville.
