Imsicke Family in Hamilton County

I am an Imsicke, and my family is from the Cincinnati(Hamilton County) part of Ohio. Obviously by the last name, my family is clearly of German heritage! I believe that my grandfather Elmer's great-grandfather or great-great-grandfather was the first to come to the U.S. from Germany. My grandfather Elmer's father's name was Joseph Anthony Imsicke and his father was also named Joseph Imsicke. You may look at my family tree for more information. If you think you may be in some way connected, related, or know someone who is, please feel free to contact me! Thanks so much!

Whitney

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has any information on a William Stigleman, who was born in 1852 in Ohio and his wife Ida (uknown last name). I cannot find any information on William's parents, but I'm thinking that they changed their surname to Stigleman from a previous one probably like Steigman or Stegmann.

Thank You
Josh

Seneca County BOGNER's-ZAHM's-HAFFNER's-GASE's-BECKER

Looking for any descendants of Antoine/Anton BOGNER and Regina BECKER, Antoine/Anton BOGNER and Agatha HAFFNER, John BOGNER and Mary ZAHM, William Frederick BOGNER and Annetta HAACKMAN/HACKMAN.

My gg-grandparents were Antoine/Anton BOGNER and Agatha (HAFFNER) BOGNER. Anton came to the U.S. abt. 1841/42. Rumor has it thru Castle Gardens.
Anton bought land in Section 26, Thompson Twp. in Sept. of 1843.
Is there a way to find/see this record of purchase? It is believed that
Anton came to the U.S. around 1841/42 with his 2 boys, Joseph and Louis, and
wife Regina BECKER. It is also said that Regina died aboard ship along with
her newborn infant, Martin. They supposedly were buried at sea. Anton
married Agatha in 1846.

Anton BOGNER died in Thompson Twp. on May 17, 1883. Is there a way for me to
find/see his obit or death record? To find where he might be buried? I
thought that they belonged to a St. Joseph Parish, but that they merged with
a St. Mary's Parish. I looked in those cemeteries, but didn't find them.

Very willing to share whatever I have on these families!
Thank you!
Joyce
Henrietta Peter

I am seeking any information that I can find about Henrietta and her family. I know that her maiden name was Siebe and that she was born in Alswede, Westfalen, Preussen (on March 26, 1841 I believe).

All I have to go on is an old letter, written in 1879, by Henrietta’s mother in Prussia to another daughter, Louise Siebe Nobbe, in Illinois (my ggrandmother). The letter shares the news that Henrietta’s husband had been dead for 4 years (1875?) and provides her sister’s address as “Mrs. Henrietta Peter, W. Schrimper #510, Cincinnati, Ohio”.

A search of the 1870 census has yielded nothing. Any and all suggestions as to how I might continue my search would be very much appreciated.

Myra
Looking for information on George Sager, born abt 1818 in Germany. I do not know when he arrived in the United States. His son, my G grandfather William P was born in Toledo, Ohio On Jan 8, 1838. He moved to Wisconsin in 1857. According to his marriage certificate of July 6, 1862 his father was George Sager and his mother was Unice, no maiden name given. I have checked census 1800 - 1880 in Ohio and cannot find the right George. On the 1870 Census for William in Wisconsin it lists his birthplace as Prussia. I do not feel that is correct but possibly where George and Unice were from. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
