What we do know about your Samuel is his ancestry is in Lancaster Co. He is a descendent of Conrad Stormfeltz. I would do 2 things. Attempt to get his death certificate from the state which will name his parents and comb the 1860 and 1870 census for him. I have 3 Samuel Stormfeltzs in my files, one born about 1845 to Jacob Stormfeltz and Elizabeth Piesch. Another was born in 1848 and ended up in Michigan. He married a Kate. The third one died young. Be sure to check the Strumfels spelling variation.
