My great-grandparents came to Pennsylvania in 1906 and 1907. My great-grandfather, Guglielmo Berardinelli, arrived in Mocanaqua in 1906 and worked in the local mine. His wife, Adelaide Falcone arrived in 1907 with their daughter Edith. Guglielmo changed his name to James Ross and had three more children: Peter Ross, Samuel Ross and Anthony Ross. Many Ross's still living in the area: Berwick, Shickshinny, Beach Haven
