Jennifer;

It is so nice to meet you. I was online with Bea last night when I guess you called her. She said she didn't have your address and phone number, but I guess you have hers. I worry about them so much, I know how important family is to Scott, he would do anything for his sisters and me and even his dad. I can't imagine what it is like being a young woman and not having your dad and then your mom around. Lost my mom last mothers day and still every day, there is something I want to call her and tell her. My husband and I spent Thanksgiving 2004 with Scott and Bea and Rocco and his kids. It was wonderful. We had a great time. Both my husband and I were so impressed with Rocco and his analytical mind. And his kids are beautiful.

I have an envelope Bea gave me with lot of papers and articles and have tried to put together a family tree. I have just been in touch with a Barry Zaffuto from Ebensburg, PA who says he has a lot of info and he referred me to Lillian Zaffuto. Bea remembers her. It looks like I have a lot of names, but no idea of the connections. Would love to get this straightened out and give it to Bea when I get up there the end of the month. Bea suggested that you get me the info you have, she doesn't really have the time to work on it and right now,and I have the family tree programs. I am retired, my unemployment has run out, but I'm nana sitting our new, very unexpected grandson. He's 4 months old, his mom (my step daughter) is 44 and has a 19 year old college-attending son. And of course, the father is screwed up. Thankfully, he's out of the picture. When she first mentioned they were dating and then they were getting married, I told her I would mind my own business. Well, he disappeared the week before the wedding and has been in big trouble ever since. He has a great deal of physical and mental problems and that has lead to a lot of legal problems. Right now, she is petrified he'll just show up at the door.Fortunately, grandpa Jim and I have been able to pay for her insurance when she lost her job because she was so sick while pregnant, we buy diapers, formula and now baby food. And I baby sit while she works now. But as he gets bigger and sleeps less, he needs to be entertained more. We're into touch and feel books and Disney music right now! But he is still sleeping in the morning, so I have some time on the computer.

I haven't been into the genealogy in a few months, but the past few weeks, have made contact with a cousin in NewYork who is looking for info about our mutual gr gr grandfather in Ireland. So, I've been able to share current info of my end of the family and he has shared his branch, and we're trying to fill in the spaces. And I hadn't heard anything on my Zaffuto/Contristano post in about 2 years and heard from this Barry last week and he seems to know a lot. I just get very hesitant about spilling family info until I know this is legitimate researcher. Bea has assured me you are legit, so I would love to share what I have. By private e mail, I'll send you what I have and will anxiously await your straightening it up.

Hope to get to meet you when I'm there memorial day weekend.
