Looked in my route planner, there is a Gilbert and Monroe in KY, VA, and PA. They are so close together in PA that it is listed as "Gilbert(Monroe), PA" but Monroe is not listed seperatly.
Noticed your post because we have an Amanda Carter that married my Hall ancestor and there were a few Carter Hall's in their descendants.
I also once found a package of tobacco called "Carter Hall" tobacco.
