My son is 9 now but when I was pregant with him, my husbands grandfather died during an operation- his family did not want me to go to the funeral because they feel it is bad luck (they live in Gray Hawk, KY, Jackson Co) and I did not believe it but to be polite, my husband and I decided i should not go. Then, when I was pregant w/our daughter who is now 8, his grandmother became very ill and passed away, I missed her funeral also!! We joke that it might be a good idea not to have any more children!!!
