Classification: Query
Surnames: Ten Eyck, Koonsman........
I'd like to thank my Uncle Thomas Willard Ten Eyck for having
entered the U.S.Navy and survived the Great War; Uncle John Wade Ten Eyck, U.S.Marines ditto; my father James Allen Ten Eyck, U.S.Army Air Force ditto; my late uncle George Lee Koonsman, Jr., U.S.Army ditto; my uncle Robert Frederick Ten Eyck for his service, my cousin Thomas
"Terry" Ten Eyck in VietNam.
I have traced my family back to New Amsterdam
prior to the Revolutionary War. My ancestors spoke Dutch well into the 1800s. We speak English, Spanish, French etc. freely, thanks to all of those who have fought and won for us our freedom.
We're losing more and more Veterans daily. Take time now to let them know of your gratitude!
