you mean that you have the original patent application?
someplace there is someone decended from this inventor who wants it. they may not know it yet, but they want it. i would love to have my dad's original patent applications.
i would suggest posting on the board for the surname and see if you can find descendents. they may not know that he invented anything.
this would definitely be an act of kindness to connect the descendent and the inventor.
