Thanks for replying!
i'm not an expert at this and the book I saw the Drake Family Listed in was the Visitation of Yorkshire with additions edited by JW Clay published in 1913. I haven't read the original but this edition does mention a Drake family that was in Yorkshire in the 1300's. it also mentions one member a Nathan Drake (who wrote a diary about the siege of the Pontefract Castle in 1645). In a biography of Nathan Drake I read that he was given Arms by Charles II but I don't know if this is true or not. I am not claiming ownership or any rights to these Arms but am just curious if they are real or if someone just Made then up! if they ate real then am wondering could they have possibly been given to Nathan Drake. Thanks Nicole
