I am trying to track down information about the Miller family who immigrated from Scotland to Adelaide, South Australia in 1857 on the Omega. Specifically, I want to know what happened to their niece, Ann O'Neill aged 14 yrs who travelled with them. The family are listed in the 1851 Scottish census as James Miller, his wife Margaret (nee MacMillan), their sons James (2 yrs) and Robert (1 month) and Ann O'Neill (aged 30 - sister-in-law) and Ann O'Neill aged 8 yrs. They were living at College St, Dunbarton, Dumbarton. The adults had all been born in Ireland, while the Miller boys were born in Dumbarton. The young Ann O'Neill had been born at Renfrew, Port Glasgow. I would be interested in any information at all about Ann and her fate in Australia as well as that of her parents.
