There were 3 children – Francois Xavier, Louis Damas and Frederic Chaloup -- from this point, Angelique (Rochon) Chaloup (widow) in 1833 marries Andre Brunet, who appears to have been married to (possibly) Xavier’s sister. I know nothing of the last two sons. However, with Andre, she has another 7 sons and the Chaloup family from this time go back and forth between the two names (Chaloup and Brunette) until early in the 19th century when they appear to switch to Brunette. After Xavier’s death in Hull, two of his half brothers, Moses and Arthur Brunette, travel to Hull and accompany the body back to the township of Fitzroy, Carleton County, Ontario for burial.

If anyone has any information regarding this line, I would be interested in anything. In particular, the name of Andre Brunet's first wife who appears to be a Chaloup, possibly Ester or Ellen. From the entry in the church register deaths, it is very difficult to figure out which is the correct first name.
