I have my great grandfather's passport from Russia I believe, it is in Russian, French, and German. I haven't had it officially translated yet but have found that it contains an exit stamp in Libau on March 21 1914. He docked at Halifax Nova Scotia so the story goes on March 25th 1914. I haven't been able to find him on any shipping manifest and to me it seems a four day boat ride across the ocean is rather fast. His name on the passport is Stefan Naliwaiko and his birth date is Dec 1896. He is from Weilka Glusia Poland which is now Ukraine. Any help would be wonderful as I feel I have exhausted all leads.
