I found out that the twins are born in Canada and there was an older brother, Mert or Mertin born abt 1862. I found that out on ARS Historica website. I think maybe he was Johanna's stepson. I found their marriage certificate and they all name their father differently. Mert's is William, Frank's is Michael and James' is Martin. I am very confused.(Frank and James are twins). Their father died before 1881, so they were young. I found one Mert in Toronto, he died in his 20's.
Johanna never remarried, they moved to Buffalo where she lived with his son,Frank.
