I'm on a quest to figure out the family relationships between the Lady Cathcart Settlers. It's a long & winding road & I'm only part way through the 1883 group.
I have a daily journal of the 1883 trip from the Outer Hebrides, the 1922 "A Short History of the Pioneer Scotch Settlers of St. Andrews, Sask" by James N. MacKinnon (mentioned earlier in this thread), the 1983 History of St.Andrews & St. Paul's (which follows a similar format as the 1922 book but with more info on what happened to the families in Canada), etc.
Of course, Angus, who responded earlier in this thread is the real expert on this group of people before they came to Canada & the first generation after that. I'm pleased to help & share as best I can too.
