Record of Aliens Held for Special Inquiry
Hi - wonder if anyone can help. I've found a relative [Fanny Bisgrove] who arrived in New York in 18 June 1923 but was held for Special Inquiry, eventually being free to land on 30 June 1923. The reason for inquiry is shown as EQ 100 - could anyone help as to what this stood for? I do know that LPC was used for those with insufficient funds to cover the fare as there are a further three passengers held on same ship for that reason.
