Trying to Estimate Time of Journey

Hi My Great Great Grandparents Nicholas & Clara DeMuth left Bremen, Germany on the Steamship "New York", they arrived at Castle Garden in New York City on May 28, 1861.
I am trying to figure out how many days that journey from Bremen Germany to New York would have taken back in 1861. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that might have some kind of rough estimation or idea as to how I might be able to figure out how many days that journey would have taken.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you, Keith Lawrence
