Julie, for some reason or the other, your Adolph liked anonymity. As you know, he arrived Mar. 16, 1911. Destination was to father Joseph Pavlik in St Paul, MN. Joseph paid the passage.
There is a Joseph Pavlik, buried Lakewood cemetery, in Minneapolis, dod 8.24.1911, age 47. His father was also Joseph.
Adolph married Marie Ludwick, 5.22.1922 in Berrien co., MI.
They have children...Duane, Eugene H., Richard H. Sue, and Carroll.
In Michalkovice, Ostrava, there is born one Josefa Ludmilla Pawlik, who may be the sibling to your Adolph. On Aug 20, 1902, House # 205. Josefa then dies Aug 24, 1902. Her father is Josef Pawlik of Gdow, Galicia,(now Poland) born Jan 26, 1860 and wife Katharina Kosciolek, born Apr 11, 1864 to Peter Kosciolek. They married Sept 30- 1889.
I can not translate the town in which Peter came, looks like Twlowa, or Iwlowa. I can say for sure that there are plenty of Kosciolek births in Michalkovice in the 1901-1907 time period. There are also several Pavlik families there during this same time frame. Unfortunately, the records for Michalkovice are very sparse. These are Roman Catholic records.
Hopes this helps to guide you in your search.
