My g.g.grandfather was Karl Johan Larsson aka Charles John Larsson, born Norkopping, Sweden about 1838. About 1863, he met his future bride on board a ship, port of departure London, destination unknown. The bride disembarked in Sydney, Australia, worked as a domestic and they married there in 1865. The marriage record shows his parents as Charles Larsson, farmer and _____ Hansdotter.
In 1868, bride and child sailed from Sydney home to London, England. From 1869 to about 1875, Charles John Larsson worked shore jobs in London, but went back to sea by 1881. I was told he worked for White Star and sailed out of London until his death between 1897 and 1901.
Lots of "abouts" in this story, but it is all I have. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
