the name in correct german is written Schwarz.

correct - no Rhein in present Bavaria.
map for the Rhein:
map for Bavaria/Bayern:

but Rhein in a part of former Kingdom Bavaria:
"Im Frieden von Lunéville 1801 musste Kurpfalzbayern wie andere deutsche Staaten zugunsten Frankreichs auf seine linksrheinischen Gebiete verzichten."
In the Peace of Luneville 1801 Palatinate Bavaria had to give up its "left bank of the Rhine" like other German states in favor of France.
"The southern portion of today's German State of Rheinland-Pfalz was once owned by Bavaria for a very long time and was / is referred to as the "Rheinpfalz", "Rhennish Pfalz", "Rheinbayern" or "Palatinate", but it is no longer a part of modern Bavaria / Bayern. "
old map:
better old map with Pfalz-area 1900:
this must be approximately his home-area. area left side of Rhein at Ludwigshafen to the south to Speyer and Wörth am Rhein.
old map of 1800:
take modern map for Ludwigshafen to compare:
