Surnames: Singleman (Singelman) Knaak Hoeper.
She came over from Hamburg Germany in October of 1882 with my grandfather Charles Henry Hoeper when he was a baby. I have found very little on her. And as she divorced my g grandfather in Germany, before coming to the U.S. and with the war 40-60 years later. I know nothing about him, except he owned a larger brewery in Hamburg at that time. I don't know why she divorced him. However, in 1883 she appears to be with a man with the last name of Brinkman and appears to have had a son with him by the name of August? and by 1889 she married a Frank Singleman in Rock Island, Illinois. She had at least 2 sons with him. Ernest is buried with his father in a cemetery in Rock Island. But I cannot find my g grandmother anywhere. Her other two sons are also MIA. I have no idea where they went either. The oldest boy was August and the youngest boy was Frank Singleman junior. If anybody has any ideas as to where they may have gone please let me know. Thank you in advance.
