I need help in researching Christinecks who were born in Brandenburg, Germany area and then emigrated to St. Petersburg, Russia.
8 Christinecks are listed on the Amburger Projekt List and I am searching for any information about them.

Karl Ludwig Christineck was a famous painter in St. Petersburg. He painted Catharine the Great and her son Alexie's portraits plus many nobilities portraits in St. Petersburg. He taught painting and also painted frescos in churches. I am searching for any information about him and his descendants. Perhaps they left Russia and immigrated to US or back to Brandenburg area. I believe Karl was my great great great great grandfather Johann Andreas Christineck's relative.

Johann Andreas Christineck also went to Russia but returned to Haseloff and Dahnsdorf, Brandenburg

Can anyone help me find out more about this Amburger Projekt list?
