I don't know how much help I can be since I have limited info on the Wandlers too! Most of my info comes from Karl Stummp's book about Germans from Russia and Conrad Keller's book about the German Colonies in Russia. I have Valentine Wandler born in 1761 in Holschloch, Germany married to Magdalena last name possibly Fischer born in 1777 in Holschloch Germany. Valentine died in Rastadt, Russia, as did Magdalena. They had 5 kids: Joseph born in 1805 in Holschloch, Germany, married to Marian last name possibly Immel or Zimmel; Christina born in 1797 in Holschloch, Germany; Karl born in 1799 in Holschloch, Germany; Lorenz born in 1800 in Holschloch Germany; and Martin born in 1802 in Holschloch, Germany, married to Franciska Eberts. According to the book Pioneer and their Sons, Valentine was one of the first settlers in Rastadt and worked as a baker or shoemaker. Joseph married Marian about 1854 in Rastadt, so may have been his second marriage since he was 49 years old. Pioneers and Sons also said something about a wife named Anna. Marian was born and died in Russia. I only know of the 2 children Anton born 24 June 1855 in Rastadt, died 7 June 1929 in Scheffield ,North Dakota, married to Magdalin Fischer in 1878 in Rastadt; and Rose born 7 May 1870 in Rastadt, Russia, died 13 Dec 1907 in Dickinson, North Dakota, married to Christian Stockert in 1887. I have info on Anton and Magdalin's children also, but nothing on the Dominich Wandler line.
