Death on board ship?
Is it possible to find out if a child died during a sailing to New Zealand. I have a 9 month old Allingham child on the passenger list in 1874 - I understand the list has been double checked at National Archives here in NZ and is accurate according to details at departure, but can find no further record of this child. I suspect a death on board. Does anyone know how this information can be sourced.
