Hi, and thank you all who have replied.......here is the other info I have found, and others have added to as well. This is only record I can find on Vernoica Polefko, who is the daughter of the Joseph I am looking for...

Hi, I am trying to locate any information on the Polefko Family from Hungary, All I can find is the following Ellis Island Record for Veronika's return to the USA. According to her daughter, she was born in Pennsylvania, (Pittsburgh) but her mother (parents) took her back to Hungary when she was @ 6-7 yrs old. She grew up in Hungary, and when she was about 18 (17 per Ellis Island papers) she came back to us to live with relatives in Norwalk. Stayed in US remainder of life.

Ellis Island Record found:
First Name: Veronika
Last Name: Polefko
Ethnicity: Austria
Last Place of Residence: Harnrot
Date of Arrival: March 18, 1912 (=BORN @1895)
Age at Arrival: 17y Gender: F Marital Status: S
Ship of Travel: George Washington
Port of Departure: Bremen
Manifest Line Number: 0021

TO SEE IS ILLEGIBLE, BUT SAYS WEST NORWALK, CT

I am seeking information on her parents, any siblings she may have had (her two daughters do not recall much, and there was a son, Josef who died about age 2). I can't read the Hungarian language, and am looking for any help here. Thanks to all!

The "to see", as you call it, was bro in law Imre KARDOS or RARDOS

The manifest states she had been in the US prior to this trip from 1895-1909 at Allegheny (City) which is now North Side Pittsburgh

Her former residence was not Harnrot it was Szarazkek where her mother was listed as next of kin, which most likely means her father was deceased mother's name looks like Szusana

And of course there are no ship manifests for anyone traveling to Europe.. so you will not find her depature.

Are their any ship records of those leaving the US to return back to Hungary? According to what I've been told, the parents with young Veronica returned to Hungary, and then the later manifest which I found, is when Veronica returned to the states. Her parents did not return.

Thanks again to all. I will in the meantime check out the website mentioned....
