hi there, thnx for yr reply, on the census here in uk it says he was born in poland? and his wife mary was formally podensky.
i have tried to search the kew immigration stuff but found it so confusing,
they could well have come from lithuania i realy cant be 100 sure. they came with two elder children who wwere also listed as born in russia/poland.it gets more confusing.
