Missing immigration records for BROTMAN family

Classification: Query
Surnames: Brotman
I am trying to find some record of immigration for three of my ancestors---my great-grandfather Joseph Brotman, who emigrated from Galicia some time around 1888, and his two sons Abraham and Max (not sure what his name was in Galicia, perhaps Moses). They may or may not have come together. Abraham was born in 1872, Max in 1878. I have been unable to find any naturalization records for Joseph or Max, but Abraham was naturalized in 1891 and according to his application, arrived in NY on September 10, 1888. I cannot find any passenger ship record for any of them on ancestry or at the Castle Garden site (Ellis Island wasn't open yet.) I did find a ship manifest for Joseph's wife and other children, Pessel, Chaim and Tema, who arrived on the Obdam together on January 19, 1891. I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks!
