Edward Finerty (Fenerty/Finnerty) arrived from Ireland somewhere along the Eastern shore in 1874 (1875?). He was traveling with his brother or friend "Levan" (LeVan, Levanne, Levin). Levan slipped off the boat in Port and was crushed between the rocks and the boat. Edward was about 20 at the time (born 1854) and Levan was about 3 years younger (born 1857). Does this unfortunate account sound familiar?
