My gggrandfather and gggrandmother came from Norway in 1870 according to census.
1870 US census has this info;

Bertha PETERSON, Hamilton township, LaCrosse,WI, b. June 1834
Ole PETERSON, Hamilton township, LaCrosse,WI, b. November 1869

I have Ole Jorgen Peterson's obit and he lived from Nov.11,1869 to Feb.15,1955.
It also states that he was born to Andres and Beret LARSON PETERSON.

The name of PETERSON may have been spelled PEDERSEN as it looks like Ole
may have signed some papers that way.

I have searched passenger lists, immigration records, and other sources.
I have not been able to find any info on this family. I am hoping to discover where in Norway
they came from. Maybe a farm name or parents names. Maybe siblings names.
I have hit a dead end so any new information would be greatly appreciated.
