Surnames: Clarke & Southard
Emma Southard emigrated with James Clarke in the early 1800's from England and Mobile. They received property from inheritance or a royal grant. They build up significant property and James had a partner surname of Johnson. Emma had a daughter in 1862 named Emma ... Emma (mother) and James (father) died in early 1860's. Johnson adopted little Emma. If you have any information or leads on these persons please let me know.
