I have been working far and wide for any information on the country of Lebanon. Salt Lake Library doesn't have anything nor does Fort Wayne Library. My grandmother was I think born in Zahle, Lebanon. She came to the United States in 1893 or 1894 to get married. Does anyone know if the country was Lebanon or Turkey?? Because my grandfather came to the Usa in 1891 to work before he sent for his intended bride and on his passport application he said he came from Zahle, Turkey. I am confused. Plus does anyone know if there are any researchers in Lebanon???
