Thanks for your reply Robert. His name was Thomas Ohlsson. He left Malmo on April 8, 1880, on a feeder ship through Newcastle (the "Patriot"). And his contract was with the Allan line. He was bound for Salina Kansas (where he did arrive). So I figure he left Liverpool or Glasgow on an Allan line ship for Canada sometime the week of April 12. I'm trying to find which specific ships sailed that week.
