dont know if this will help but john and viola had twin daughters rose and gertie brown rose is my grand mother

John Sherwood Brown, in his death registration, was born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia 25DEC1897 and died Central Blissville, Blissville Parish, Sunbury Co., NB 10NOV1961 age 63 years, 10 months and 16 days. His son, King W. Brown, did not know the names of his parents and gave his wife (who predeceased him) as Viola.

John Sherwood W. Brown b . England ca. 1895 was a woodman living in McAdam Junction, (Sunbury Co.,?), NB when he married Saint John, Saint John Co., NB 10MAR1928 Viola May Thomas (b. Fredericton Junction, NB ca. 1902), d/o Marvin and Mary (Lynd) Thomas. He was the s/o Thomas and Mary (Pheatt) Brown.

Viola May Brown b. Tracy, Sunbury Co., NB 1900, d. Victoria General Hospital, Fredericton, York Co., NB 21JUL1942 age 42 years. She lived in Central Blissville and was the d/o Marvin and Mary (Lynn) Thomas. Marvin was also from Blissville, but Mary Lynn was from Keswick, Douglas or Bright Parish, York Co., NB.

Marvien Gorden Thomas of Tracy (Tracey), Sunbury Co., NB was married to Mary Adelaide Lint. Mary was from Bear Island, Queensbury Parish, York Co.

I realize there are contradictions here. For example, is Mary's maiden name Lynd, Lynn or Lint? I think it was Lint but sometimes the people making these records could barely write let alone spell. This type of problem is normal in Genealogy. Bear Island in Queensbury Parish is actually close enough to the Keswick River that the general area is the same.

King William Brown b. Sunbury Co., NB m. Woodstock Carleton Co., NB Lillian Edna Kindon (b.Carleton Co., NB), d/o Walter George and Ada Beatrice Kindon. He was the s/o John Sherwood and Viola (Thomas) Brown.

In the 1911 census of Gladstone Parish, Sunbury Co., NB, Viola Thomas was b. MAR1900 and the d/o Marvin (APR1857) and Mary (OCT1877) Thomas. In `90`, in Gladstone Parish, Viola M. Thomas (24NOV1900) was the d/o Marvin (12APR1858) and Mary (6APR1876) Thomas. Birth-dates in census returns are not often reliable as well.

In Gladstone Parish in 1891, Marvin Thomas (age 33) is head-of-household and with him are his parents, Dennis? (77) and Rebecca (63) Thomas and a brother?, Weldon? (20). Some of the writing is really bad. In Gladstone Parish in 1881 the family is Linus (63) and 'Rebecah' (52) Thomas with Frazier, Marvin (23), Clarence and Willard.

In Blissville Parish, Sunbury Co., NB in 1871 Linus (54) and Rebecca (43) Thomas have 'Frasure' M., Olive T., Marvin R. (13), 'Clarance' B., George, 'Adelaid' V. and Willard.

In Blissville Parish, in 1851, a household was:

Thomas Linus M Son 36 lumberman Birth
Thomas William M Lodger 45
Thomas Frances F Lodger 41
Greg Elmory F Lodger 8

Listing Linus as a 'son' is likely an error. I suspect that William, 'Frances' and Linus were siblings, possibly children of a Joshua Thomas (75) lodging in Blissville Parish with a Tracy family. Near the siblings was another Joshua who appears as:

Thomas Joshua M Head 40 farmer Birth
Thomas Elizabeth J F Wife 28
Thomas George E M Son 6
Thomas Charlotte F Daughter 4
Thomas Margaret L F Daughter 2
Thomas Sarah A F Daughter 5 mos.

Joshua b. ca. 1776 was likely the s/o a Loyalist, Joshua Thomas, mentioned at:
http://www.fold3.com/page/1381_joshua_thomas_loyalist_and_so...

Some Thomas burials are noted at:
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nbsunbur/su-c05.htm

'Lynus' Thomas m. Blissville Parish 10AUG1852 Rebecca Webb, d/o George Webb. George's family in Blissville Parish in 1851 was:

Webb George M Head 58 farmer Birth
Webb Nancy F Wife 49
Webb Rebecca F Daughter 22
Webb Emery M Son 20
Webb Jeremiah M Son 15
Webb Eunice F Daughter 12

John Sherwood Brown b. 25DEC1897 (ca. 1895), s/o Thomas and Mary (Pheatt) Brown may be the John Sherwood Brown mentioned at:
http://boards.ancestry.ca/topics.immigration.uk.englishemig/...
This mentions siblings Ethel (b. 14SEP1898) and Thomas (b. 5DEC1891). Their mother is given as Emily from Birmingham, England. They are said to have arrived in Saint John, NB on the 'Carthaginian', out of Liverpool 31MAY1904. His brother appears to have been Thomas Sheridan Brown b. Coventry, England 5DEC1892, d. Hammondsdale, Hammond Parish, Kings Co., NB 1MAR1962 age 69 years, 2 months and 24 days. His parents were unknown as well. His wife, Laura, survived him.
perhaps Ethel was Ethelyn Rowena Brown b. England ca. 1896, m. Saint John, Saint John Co., NB 2JUN1920 James A. Meisner. When married she gave her parents as John and Mavre? Brown. It does seem unlikely that this was Ethel. John and Viola had a daughter, Ethel Brown (d. and b. 13MAY1936). What is interesting is that John S. W. Brown gave the information of her death registration and stated that he was b. in Cape Breton, NS. So far I have found no trace of him there. There were several John Brown's in Cape Breton in 1901 and 1911 but none that seem the right age or with a father, Thomas. Probably John was being evasive. See:
http://forum.historiccoventry.co.uk/main/forum-posts.php?id=...
Even so, he repeated the information when he joined the Candian Expeditionary Force in WWI in Sussex, Kings Co., NB 22MAR1916. He stated that he was b. Glace Bay, Cape Breton, NS 25DEC1895 and that his next-of-kin was his brother, Thomas Brown, of Clover Dale, Kings Co., NB. Again I can find no clear trace of that family in Glace Bay.

Thomas Sheridan Brown baptized Holy Trinity Church, Coventry, Warwickshire, England 3DEC1894 was a son of Emily Brown. John Sheridan (rather than Sherwood) Brown was b. ca. 1895 and in the 1901 census of Coventry, Warwickshire, England but it is not indicated whom he was with. This was probably:
