Overseas Settlement Scheme and Empire Settlement Act

The British Government had a couple of schemes after WW1 to assist immigration to NZ, Australia, South Africa and Canada. The 1919 Overseas Settlement Scheme was for ex-servicemen, and the Empire Settlement Act of 1922 expanded to the general population (but ceased by 1927 due to economic downturn.)

Does anyone know if records for these immigrants (eg applications, passenger lists) are available to look at? And if so where? I'm particularly looking for records to NZ, but don't know under which scheme my people travelled

Thanks, Ruth
